You can transfer money to India via the Internet Banking service available in USD and CAD.
The first step is to create an online account either for corporate or personal use.
If you already have an account with SBI, you can use the online account opening feature to activate banking services such as checking, savings, and money transfers.
If you're not an SBI customer, you must meet the following eligibility when opening an account:
Have a Canadian and Indian Passport
Have a Canadian Driver's License
Have proof of residence documents such as a PR card and Provincial ID card
Have valid identification documents.
You can apply at the SBI Canada branches or Canada Post Outlet.

To send money, you'll need to provide the following information:
The recipient's name. Ensure the name matches their bank account details.
The recipient's address, including their physical address and name of the city.
The name of the bank and branch.
The account number of the recipient.
You must also choose the purpose of the remittance.
The time taken for the recipient to receive the money depends on the mode of transfer. For wire transfer, your money will reach the recipient within two business days.
